Effective July 1, 2004: Act 308 of the 2003 Regular Session (LSA - R.S. 9:3195-3199) requires the seller (whether listed by an agent or for sale by owner) of residential real property to provide purchasers with a property disclosure document.

You must provide the disclosure form for residential single family homes, doubles, duplexes, tri-plexes, and four plexes sold on or after July 1, 2004.
